In case you missed it, we delivered yet another exciting Twitter Chat on “Why Female Leadership in Tech Matters”.

This was done in partnership with She Leads Africa, a community that helps young African women achieve their professional dreams, and Silicon Cape Initiative,  a non-profit trust established to unite entrepreneurs and develop a vibrant tech sector through partnerships with key stakeholders.

The live event focused on the the barriers that female leaders in the tech world face, and how to overcome these barriers. Our special guests were:

Evelyn Namara, Co-founder and CTO of !nnovate Uganda, Sherifah Tumusiime, Co-founder and CEO of Zimba Women, Ijeoma Oguegbu, CEO and Founder of Beavly, Florence Toffa, Director at Mobile Web Ghana and the team at Unlocking Women and Technology (UWAT), Ghana.
